Martin Farm In The North

We had a farm, but we decided to set up “zimmerim” (B&Bs) 25 years ago. I really like receiving guests, explaining to them about the beautiful Western Galilee, meeting interesting people and doing it with great love.

My impact loan status:

Meet Weiss Martin

Micro lending, Macro Impact

Our moshav, Moshav Liman, is very close to the Lebanese border. Due to the war and the order of the government, the entire moshav evacuated the area and we had to close the business temporarily.

The loan will allow us to continue managing our finances during this difficult time while we have no income. In addition, the loan will allow us to organize for the day after – to advertise and promote the business so that it will quickly return to activity and generate income.

My business - My spark

Our tourism business in Moshav Liman includes 4 suites and 2 B&Bs. We host domestic tourists as well as those visiting from abroad. The business is active all year round

A few more words

We are Martine and Meir from Moshav Liman, parents of 3 children and  grandparents to Roni.

Meir grew up in Leman and bought a farm there and Martine immigrated from Morocco as a baby. They met in the army and decided to settle in the Western Galilee and start a farm and a family there.

Meir worked in tourism in the area and as soon as it was possible, 25 years ago, we established a B&B on the farm.
