Irena’s Travel Agency

I fulfilled my dream of opening a travel agency in Ashdod in 2022 after 15 years in the industry. Our agency offers services to both direct clients and serves as a service provider for other agencies. We operate in Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Bulgaria. Unfortunately, the war has adversely affected both domestic and international tourism, resulting in a decline in business. I am seeking assistance to cover operational expenses.

My impact loan status:

Micro lending, Macro Impact

The impact of the war has led to a significant downturn in both domestic and international tourism, causing a decline in our business. t. Despite the challenges, I have been covering the expenses for all three of our offices in the south and maintaining salaries for two employees, while three others had to take unpaid leave since October 18, 2023.

Additionally, the uncertainty has created hesitancy among people to plan future vacations, further exacerbating the lack of income to sustain the business. I am seeking assistance to cover operational expenses and navigate through this challenging period.
