My name is Shemi Bokobza and I established and direct the “Shemi Bokobza” physical fitness training studio in Ashkelon. During the war we ran into cash flow difficulties; lots of customers canceled or froze subscriptions, which closed the revenue tap for us despite our ongoing expenses.

“Shemi Bokobza” is a fitness studio for the rehabilitation and empowerment of youth and adults using the amazing tool of physical fitness training. We accompany adults but also teenage groups that, with the help of physical training, restore self-confidence in their body image, personal and social skills and abilities. The group work also teaches commitment, processes, patience and dealing with frustration and difficulty.

My name is Shemi and I have been directing this physical training business for over 6 years since I established it. So far we have helped hundreds of people change their lives. I love so much to see people who flourish at the studio, and this need is doubly important to me now during the war when people are depressed, and weaker physically and mentally.
