In 2011, my sister and I started our architecture business. Electico, together combining 12 years experience. Our firm specializes in functional architecture, planning, and accompanying projects in saturated construction areas. We prioritize the practice of utilizing properties and tailoring them to meet our clients’ specific needs. Since the war started, many of the construction projects have been delayed affecting our ability to operate normally. We need help to get through this time.

Micro lending, Macro Impact

In addition to the national grief and fear, our business is also experiencing paralysis. Construction has halted, clients are canceling work contracts, and payments have been frozen. Despite these challenges, we made the decision not to outsource the work and instead establish a new work routine. However, we now find ourselves in need of assistance to maintain the flow of our operations and thereby contribute to preserving the state's economy.

My business - My spark

Since 2011, my sister and I have co-founded Electico, an architecture business merging our 12 years of combined experience. Specializing in functional architecture and planning, we cater to projects in saturated construction areas, focusing on tailoring properties to our clients' specific needs. Navigating a predominantly male construction industry as two women has its challenges, but we've grown stronger together, leveraging our complementary strengths. Over the years, we've successfully managed numerous projects and thousands of housing units, supported by our professional and experienced team. Today, Electico stands as a trusted consultancy firm facilitating transactions between developers, contractors, and buyers in the real estate sector.

A few more words

I am Rachel Lazar, one of the partners and sisters in our business. At 37, I'm married and a proud mother of five children, residing in Jerusalem. My sister, Dina Meir, is also a partner in our venture. She's 31, married, and a mother of two children, living in Jerusalem alongside me. Navigating the construction industry as two women has its challenges; we often find ourselves as the underrepresented minority in various projects. However, over the years, we've gained invaluable experience and have grown stronger together. Our partnership thrives on the complementary nature of our strengths.
