I am the owner of a cafe in Kibbutz Kfar Giladi on the northern border. With over 30 years of experience in pastry making, we serve a high-quality product six days a week. On October 8, the kibbutz was completely evacuated, and since then, the place has been shut down and closed. I need help to pay my suppliers and employees.

On October 8, the kibbutz was completely evacuated, and since then, the place has been shut down and closed. In just one day, we were left without income and with debts to suppliers, employees, and more. Additionally, I had to dispose of all the produce and goods that were left on the premises. I am hopeful to return soon and restart the place, but I will need funds to facilitate that process.

My business - My spark

I mastered my pastry-making skills through studies in both Israel and France, and my professional journey commenced in Tel Aviv at esteemed establishments such as Raviva Ve Cilia, Orna and Ella, and Pasta Mia. In 2008, I relocated to Kibbutz Kfar Giladi, where I inaugurated the Kukia Cafe in Kibbutz Dafna. The cafe later moved to Kibbutz Kfar Giladi in 2021. At Kukia Cafe, we take pride in our diverse menu, offering quiches, lasagnas, pastries, salads, cakes, cookies, and more. Every item is crafted on-site to ensure quality. With approximately 15 employees in both the bar and kitchen, our cafe operates six days a week, attracting  local residents and travelers.
