Shantima is a boutique studio specializing in handmade, eco-friendly linen clothing. While we serve global markets, this loan will help us expand locally in Israel by translating our website into Hebrew.
Micro lending, Macro Impact
Shantima has been a labor of love, creating handmade linen clothing that promotes harmony between inner and outer beauty. While our main market has been abroad, the war has caused a decline in international orders. We now want to focus on growing in Israel. Our eco-friendly approach, using sustainable linen, aligns with our belief in protecting the environment. This loan will help us enhance our online platform and make our unique designs accessible to more people locally.
My business - My spark
My journey began after I left a career in programming to travel and live in India. It was there that I fell in love with creating beautiful, meaningful clothing. After returning to Israel in 2009, I founded Shantima. My passion is to design pieces that feel natural and inspire confidence, while supporting sustainable practices. With this loan, we can invest in new designs and bring Shantima’s eco-friendly fashion to more people.
A few more words
I live in southern Israel with my family, surrounded by the serenity of Yatir Forest. The nature around me is a constant reminder that growth is always possible, even in the harshest environments. My mission is to create clothing that harmonizes inner beauty with the outer world.
