I’m Nihad Rada, and I founded Ha’dabe Theater with a vision to unite Jews and Arabs using art. This loan will help us overcome the financial difficulties caused by the war and continue fostering dialogue and hope.
Micro lending, Macro Impact
The war in northern Israel has severely impacted our ability to operate. We had to give up our rehearsal space due to financial struggles, and with ongoing missile threats, performances have been canceled, cutting off our income. This loan will help us recover and continue using theater to bring people together, especially during these challenging times.
My business - My spark
I started Ha’dabe Theater in 2017, because I believe in the power of storytelling to connect people. Our theater brings Jews and Arabs from the north together, with each performance focusing on important social issues that affect us all. Watching how art breaks down barriers and brings people closer is what I love most about my work.
A few more words
Theater has always been my way of creating change. Leading Ha’dabe Theater allows me to contribute to a better future by fostering understanding between Jews and Arabs. Although we’ve faced financial hardships and missile threats, I remain committed to our mission of promoting coexistence through art.
