Art in Elhanin Theatre, Nazareth

Our theatre is a home and an open stage for all creators and artists to work on imparting cultural and artistic values and creating fine, high-quality theater. However, during these challenging days and due to the security situation, our activity has been completely frozen. Consequently, the income through which we could cover the current expenses of the theater, such as employees’ salaries and rent, did not materialize. We need help to keep the Theatre operating.

My impact loan status:

About my business

Founded in 2001 by actor Lotof Neweiser and a group of visionary friends, Elhanin Theater aimed to transform society through art and theater despite budget constraints. Initially lacking a permanent home, the group successfully created numerous theater productions, reaching thousands of people. In 2015, the theater found a permanent space in a former carpentry workshop with a 250-seat stage. Elhanin Theater is committed to creating contemporary and innovative quality theater, addressing societal needs and changes. The theater imparts cultural and artistic values, fostering a love for theater within the community. Additionally, Elhanin Theater actively seeks, exposes, and encourages new talents in the field of theater, making its productions accessible to the public everywhere. In 2021, the theater expanded with a renovated lobby, serving as an additional event space and a gathering place for the audience.
