Invest in Hope
Our aim is to expand access to financial resources by providing funding to small businesses in Israel. Our microloan borrowers often come from, or employ, marginalized social groups, and face challenges receiving the financial support needed for stability. Investments from the SparkIL community of lenders are often the stepping stones needed for these businesses to grow and succeed.

Place
Although a small country, Israel’s communities are diverse with distinct needs. We help stimulate the economies and social networks of smaller, overlooked, and out-of-the-way communities, as well as larger communities in need of new social programs.
Purpose
We connect lenders passionate about social values (such as the environment, economic inequality, the arts, education, health, coexistence, and more) with Israel’s dreamers who have dedicated their careers for the betterment of society.
“The loan from SparkIL allowed me to fulfill my dream and influence the environment and society.”

#bringthemhome
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Jon Polin, a founder of SparkIL, and his family during this profoundly difficult time. We mourn with them the tragic loss of their son Hersh, who was cruelly murdered while being held hostage in Gaza by Hamas. Our thoughts are with the Polin family, and we continue to hope for the safe return of everyone still captive in Gaza.
