Shai’s Pilates in Netivot and Rishon

I transformed a balcony in my home into a training space and today I am the proud owner of the first kosher Pilates studio in Netivot for women and girls. It’s also the only Pilates studio with reformers (Pilates equipment) in the area. Due to the war we faced challenges in retaining our clientele and had to address several staff-related issues. I am seeking assistance to sustain and revive my business.

What I need help with

Due to the war, we had to temporarily close the studio. Initially, I had around 200 clients, but today we have between 20 and 30 clients. The impact of the war is evident, with most of my trainees coming from the Otaf area, and many of them have been evacuated. The challenges we face extend beyond the studio, affecting the lives of those connected to it.

About my business

My journey into fitness began many years ago when I owned a studio specializing in functional training and TRX. As my dedication to fitness grew, I pursued studies at Wingate.

I opened the studio during the COVID-19 pandemic, marking it as the first Pilates device studio in Netivot. Initially, I began setting up the studio at home due to gym closures. Many girls came to my house for training following the Ministry of Health guidelines, and that’s how the business took off.

Following the pandemic, I established the first kosher Pilates studio in Netivot. Since then, numerous girls have joined those who have been training with me from the beginning, and they continue to be a part of our community to this day.

About me

Residing in Netivot, I am a 58-year-old single mother of four adult children. My passion for the world of fitness and health not only shapes my life but is something I actively share with others.
